Using your stock cylinder we increase the bore size and install a 100mm custom designed piston. We then install Thumper's custom aluminum sleeve with our exclusive and patented "Cool Flow" technology. This gives 10 more square inches of outer cylinder wall to water contact which keeps the motor cool and stable under heavy loads. Lastly, we plate the cylinder with the finest in Nikasil plating and then diamond hone to exact tolerances.
BASIC KIT INCLUDES: Piston kit -(includes piston, pin, clips, rings), Top End Gasket Kit, Jetting kit, Custom Aluminum Big Bore Sleeve, Nikasil plate and diamond hone to exact clearances. Basic kit requires sending your stock cylinder in to Thumper for rework.
KIT WITH CORE EXCHANGE: We offer a core exchange to save on downtime. We send you the kit complete with the new sleeve installed, plating and honing done to one of our cores, ready to drop in your bike. This requires a $400 core deposit. When you return your old core within 30 days of receiving this kit, we refund the entire deposit of $300. CORES ARE GENERALLY, BUT NOT ALWAYS IN STOCK - PLEASE CALL IF IN A RUSH.
